Stonfo Rotodubbing Mini

Stonfo Rotodubbing Mini is a very compact dubbing twister designed for working with a conventional thread loop. Its defining features are an internal ball bearing and a specially shaped ergonomic ring handle. This construction separates the tool’s stable handhold from the movement of the rotating head, allowing the loop to be twisted without turning the entire hand.

Two wire hooks support the sides of the prepared loop. Once dubbing or other materials have been placed between the thread strands, the loop is held under tension and the head is set in motion with the thumb. The internal bearing allows smooth rotation, transforming loosely arranged fibres into a compact, twisted material strand.

The small format is useful where there is limited clearance between the hook held in the vise and the work surface. After twisting, the tool can remain attached while the resulting strand is wrapped around the hook shank, helping the tier maintain tension. The ring-shaped handle provides a controlled finger hold during both spinning and winding.
