Stonfo Safety Cord
Stonfo Safety Cord is a coiled safety tether for securing frequently used fishing tools, boxes and other accessories to a waistcoat or trousers. It keeps the attached item connected to the angler’s clothing while it is being handled, reducing the chance of losing equipment beside or in the water. It is particularly useful for tackle that needs to be reached repeatedly during a fishing session.
The spring section is made from durable plastic and extends to a maximum of 80 cm, providing useful working reach while remaining compact when released. A stainless steel clip fastens the cord to clothing, while the stainless steel snap connects to a tool, box or accessory fitted with a suitable eye, loop or attachment point. This straightforward arrangement allows equipment to remain accessible without leaving it loose in a pocket or on the bank.
After use, remove any sand, grit or other deposits from the coil. If the cord has been exposed to salt water, rinse it with fresh water and allow it to dry. Check the condition of the spring and make sure both metal fittings close correctly before attaching valuable equipment.
