Stonfo Soft Touch Ring Hackle Pliers

Stonfo Soft Touch Ring Hackle Pliers are individual fixed-head hackle pliers distinguished by a soft-touch ring handle. The ring can rest around a finger while the tool is guided around the hook shank. This provides a stable contact point and gives direct control over successive wraps without requiring a small handle to be held only between the fingertips.

The slim opposing jaws grip the feather stem, while firm clamping pressure helps retain the material during winding. As the head does not rotate independently, the direction and angle of the hackle remain under the direct control of the hand. The same construction can also hold other narrow fly-tying materials when a secure grip over a short section is required.
