Stonfo Tubolar Strong Shank is a rigid tubular stainless-steel shank for constructing articulated flies, especially streamers. It provides a stable foundation for materials tied along separate sections, making it possible to build bodies with controlled length and articulation.
Construction and use
The shank is made as a microtube with a 1.0 mm outside diameter. Its tubular section keeps the construction light while maintaining high rigidity during tying. One piece can form the base of a single body section, while several shanks can be connected in series to create a longer articulated streamer. Choose the length to suit the intended silhouette and number of sections, and check the planned connection and movement of the completed assembly before finishing the fly.
