Sybai Body Stretch 6mm

Sybai Body Stretch 6mm is an elastic flat strip for broader wing cases, nymph backs and wound bodies. It can be stretched over the underbody to follow the fly’s shape, giving the tier control over coverage and the finished body profile.

Construction and use

Tie the strip in at the rear of the body, leaving enough material to carry over the shaped thorax or abdomen. Stretch it progressively towards the eye, checking the width of the coverage as it crosses the body, then secure it at the front. A rib wound in the opposite direction can mark the segments and help keep the strip in position. Lighter tension retains more width, while firmer tension helps the material follow a tapering body.

• Size: nominal 6 mm width, as stated in the product name.
