Sybai Braided Tubing

Sybai Braided Tubing is a dense hollow tube with a compact braided construction. It forms a neat outer covering over a prepared underbody and provides a quick way to build a clearly defined streamer body or baitfish imitation. The dense braid gives the surface a fuller appearance, while the finished profile comes from the underbody shape and the selected tube size.

Construction and use

Choose Micro or Large according to the diameter of the prepared underbody and the body width you intend to make. Form a smooth underbody, slide the tubing over it and leave enough material beyond both tie-in points. Stretching narrows and lengthens the braid, while compression widens it, allowing the tubing to be adjusted to the underbody. Tie it down at both ends and secure the cut edges against fraying. The finished covering suits streamer bodies, larger profiles and fly patterns that call for a compact braided surface.
