Sybai Fine Flash Dubbing is a fine-diameter synthetic dubbing with a Flashabou-textured structure. It is intended for fast formation of shiny fly bodies, offering a practical alternative to placing separate flash strands one by one. The fine fibre size helps keep small patterns slim and makes the amount easy to control, while the synthetic construction is well suited to tying repeated batches with a consistent finish.
Construction and use
This material is suitable for saltwater flies, streamers, nymphs and wet flies. Dub it directly onto the thread for a narrow body, or mix it with another dubbing to adjust the brightness, density or outline. A small pinch is enough for compact nymphs. When tying a larger streamer body, use a dubbing loop to secure more fibre and build volume quickly, then trim only the stray fibres that interrupt the intended profile.
