Sybai Flash Back Plus

Sybai Flash Back Plus is a flexible fly-tying material for nymph backs, wing cases and adult-fly wings. It can form a separate cover over the body or be shaped as a broad wing element. Colour variants make it possible to match the material to a pattern, while the finish should be selected from the specific product variant rather than assumed from the family name.

Construction and use

Cut a length suited to the body and tie it in at the rear, leaving enough excess to pull over the underbody. Build the body with thread or dubbing, stretch the material toward the head and secure it in front of the eye. For a wing case, divide it with ribbing; for a wing, trim or shape the outline after tying it in. Check that the edges lie flat before finishing, and remove the waste only after several firm thread wraps have locked the material in place.
