Sybai Ghost Flash Hair
Sybai Ghost Flash Hair consists of loose synthetic fibres for streamer wings and other fly patterns that call for a light, mobile material. The fibres can be used on their own, tied in small bundles or combined with other materials to build a layered construction and a gradually tapered profile. Their hair-like form makes it easy to adjust the material to the size of the fly and trim it after securing it to the hook.
Construction and use
Ghost Flash Hair can form a streamer wing, back, lateral accent or tail. When tying, take a small bundle, secure it firmly with several thread wraps and add another layer only when needed. Working with modest portions prevents an overly dense bunch and helps the fibres retain movement in the water. The ends can be tapered or trimmed to match the intended baitfish profile.
- Streamer wings Build light, layered wings with a controlled length and silhouette.
- Backs and sides Add strands as a lateral accent or a covering over the fly body.
- Tails Use a small bundle so the tail does not restrict the fly’s movement.
- Preparation Align the ends, tie the fibres firmly to the hook shank and trim the profile after securing them.
