Sybai SLF Blend Dubbing

Sybai SLF Blend Dubbing is made from synthetic live fibres that bring gloss, translucency and movement to a fly body. Compared with Gleamy dubbing, it is slightly softer and shinier, giving the finished fly a more mobile appearance rather than a hard, uniform surface. It is a versatile choice whenever the body should combine a reflective finish with a lively fibre structure.

Construction and use

Use it for nymphs, wet flies, larvae and smaller streamers, or add it as a moving accent to a thorax or body blend. It also combines well with duller fibres when you want to moderate the shine without losing movement. To preserve its character, avoid packing on too much material: twist a thin layer onto the thread, shape the body and gently tease the surface with a brush. A dubbing loop is useful when a fuller, more animated section is required.
