Sybai Wiggly Worms

Sybai Wiggly Worms is a round, very soft elastic material with a bright, glossy finish. It is used for compact worm bodies, buzzer bodies and segmented insect bodies. It can also be incorporated into selected nymph and wet-fly patterns.

Construction and use

Cut a piece slightly longer than the finished body and tie it in on the hook shank. Hold it with broad, moderate-pressure thread wraps because excessive pressure can cut into a very soft material. Apply light tension while winding; touching turns create a full, smooth body, while controlled spacing produces segmentation. Secure the front end, trim the excess and inspect the finished body for sharp or uneven edges before completing the head.
