Tan CDC Emerger is an emerger for trout and grayling feeding just below the surface and in the surface film. This subtle, pale variant is suited to a quiet hatch, when fish are reluctant to rise to a dry fly presented high in the water.

Fish it on a delicate setup with a natural dead drift. Choose sizes #16 and #18 when insects are small and the fish are feeding cautiously. Tied on a barbless hook. CDC in the name refers to the use of feathers from around the preen gland.
