Textreme Holo Fibers MD (300 Den.) Flat Tinsel
Textreme Holo Fibers Md (300 Den.) is flat Mylar finished with a laser-made holographic effect. It reflects light with a distinct changing flash and is intended for visual accents in fly patterns. The Md version is the middle option in this range, making it suitable for streamer bodies as well as for adding controlled-width strips of flash where a very large band is not required.
Construction and use
Use the Mylar for ribbing and streamer bodies. It can also be incorporated into wings and tails, either alone or together with Crystalflash, glossy flash or natural fibres such as marabou. The range description lists widths of 1/32” and 1/16”, indicated especially for large saltwater streamers. While tying, keep the strip aligned with the hook shank, control the tension and trim it with sharp scissors once the desired outline has been secured.
