Textreme Holo Fibers SM (150 Den.) Flat Tinsel
Textreme Holo Fibers Sm (150 Den.) is flat Mylar with a laser-made holographic effect. It creates a shifting, light-catching reflection and is used to add flash to fly constructions rather than to provide weight. The Sm version is the smallest option in this range, making it suitable for finer details, smaller bodies and patterns where the reflective material should remain an accent beside the main tying fibres.
Construction and use
Use it for ribbing, streamer bodies or selected strands and strips in wings and tails. It combines readily with Crystalflash, glossy flash and natural fibres such as marabou. The range description lists widths of 1/32” and 1/16”, indicated especially for large saltwater streamers. On smaller flies, check the proportions before trimming and avoid overtightening the thread, which can crease the flat surface and reduce the neatness of the finished detail.
