Textreme Ice Fiber
Textreme Ice Fiber is a loose, textured synthetic fibre with a strongly reflective appearance. It is supplied in hanks, making it suitable for streamer wings, tails and bodies, either on its own or mixed with other fibres.
Construction and use
Separate a small bundle, even the tips, and tie it onto the hook shank while controlling the desired length and volume. For a streamer, layer additional bundles to build a fuller profile. The fibres may also be placed in a dubbing loop and twisted when a more compact bunch is required. They are not wound directly like chenille because they are loose fibres without a continuous core. Trim the material after tying to refine the silhouette of the fly.
