Textreme Micromylar

Textreme Micromylar is an ultra-thin continuous Mylar braid for winding bodies and ribbing. Its fine construction creates an even, low-profile layer on medium bodies and adds a defined accent to larger ones. The metallic Mylar reflection changes gradually with the arrangement of the wraps and the viewing angle, allowing a body or rib to retain a controlled low profile.

Construction and use

Tie in the end on the hook shank and wind the braid in even, touching turns. For a body, maintain steady tension and keep the edges aligned at each end; for ribbing, space the turns to set the desired rib width. Secure the material with thread before trimming. The fine braid lies neatly over a prepared underbody and is useful when a slim finished profile is important.
