Textreme Mono Thread Lg (0/18) is a transparent monofilament with a special treatment, intended for tying situations where the thread should remain as unobtrusive as possible. It is suited to translucent bodies and extremely small patterns in which ordinary thread could cover or visually dominate other materials. This makes it useful with delicate CDC dressings and similar constructions where preserving the appearance of the material matters. It is available only in Clear transparent. The manufacturer also indicates that it can be used as a tippet line.

Construction and use

Unlike a fibrous tying thread, this material has a continuous clear monofilament construction. It can therefore make discreet wraps while leaving the underbody and other components visible. Keep consistent tension while tying and place each wrap deliberately; even spacing helps maintain the transparency and clean surface of a small body.
