Textreme Pearl Braid

Textreme Pearl Braid is a continuous braided material for building fly and streamer bodies or segments. Its pearl, iridescent finish changes with the angle of light, while the braided construction can be wrapped as a compact continuous layer around the hook shank.

Construction and use

Tie in the end of the braid at the start of the body and keep it under controlled tension while working. Wrap it in adjacent turns for an even surface, or leave deliberate gaps when a segmented body is required. Select the scale of the braid to match the hook and the desired body coverage. Secure the final turn with thread and trim the waste end. The braid is suitable for nymphs, flies and streamers.
