Textreme Pearl Braid Small
Textreme Pearl Braid Small is a very small braid made of dyed pearl, intended for partial or complete body ribbing on fly patterns. Its braided form can be wound as a distinct segmenting detail, while the small format is appropriate for finer patterns. The braid can also be split: after the braid fibres are removed, it becomes a flat mylar suitable for wings or tails on small artificials. This gives the tyer two different working forms from the same material—a raised braid for ribbing and a flat strip for silhouette details. Before splitting, secure or control the end so that more of the braid does not open than required. When using it as ribbing, keep the wraps evenly spaced to maintain a clear, regular rhythm between body segments.
