Textreme Standard (6/0) Fly Tying Thread
Textreme Standard (6/0) is an all-purpose fly-tying thread formed from parallel bonded filaments. Its manufacturing process provides useful tensile strength compared with its size, while the organized structure supports precise control at the vise. Version 6/0 is suitable for almost all common imitations on hooks from size #8 to #18, including dry flies, CDC patterns, nymphs and streamers for smaller trout. It can also create thin, uniform bodies and finish heads. The product is available in 36 natural and fluorescent colors. In use, pay attention to the angle of the thread path: the parallel filaments can settle flat when pressure and wrap direction remain consistent.
