Textreme Synthetic Biot

Textreme Synthetic Biot is a lightly adhesive, semitransparent tapered triangular synthetic strip with quill-like ribbing. It is prepared for winding bodies and produces clear, regular segmentation on small and larger hooks. The package contains 20 strips.

Construction and use

Separate one strip carefully so its fine profile is not damaged. Tie in the wider end at the rear of the body and wind forward without excessive tension. Touching turns create a smoother body, while slight overlap gives the segmentation a stronger definition. The light adhesive layer helps hold the material in position; after winding, secure the strip with thread and add a thin coat of varnish or resin if required by the chosen finish.
