Tiemco TMC 100 BL Fly Hooks
Tiemco TMC 100 BL is a barbless hook for dry flies, intended for classic surface patterns that imitate adult insects. Its wide gape suits dry-fly proportions while leaving room for a balanced body, hackle and wing arrangement.
Design and use
The 1XF wire and wide gape provide a useful tying platform for lightweight dry flies. The forged construction supports a stable hook shape, while the bronze finish is suited to traditional surface patterns. As a barbless hook, it is appropriate where fish are released and requires clean placement of the point during the fight. The extended point provides additional length in the gripping section without adding a barb, making it useful for standard dry-fly proportions.
