Tiemco TMC 100 SP BL Fly Hooks

Tiemco TMC 100 SP BL is a barbless dry-fly hook for surface patterns that need a wide gape and a stronger build than a fine-wire dry-fly hook. It is suited to larger dry flies and fishing situations involving bigger trout.

Design and use

The 0X–1X heavy wire gives the pattern a sturdy base, while the wide gape leaves space for a fuller body, hackle or wing. Forged construction supports the hook shape and the bronze finish suits traditional dry-fly dressing. The SPS-Barbless point is straight and has no barb, so the tying materials can be arranged with a clear, proportional working area in front of the bend. It is a practical choice when a barbless dry-fly pattern needs more wire strength.
