Tiemco TMC 103 BL Fly Hooks

Tiemco TMC 103 BL is a barbless hook for dry flies, CDC patterns, soft hackles and emergers. Its wide gape and extra-fine wire provide a light platform for patterns that depend on delicate proportions and low hook weight.

Design and use

The wide opening leaves useful space around the dressed body and supports a clear hook point on small and medium patterns. Extra-fine wire keeps the hook light for dry flies, CDC wings, emergers and soft-hackle designs. The sharp point is suited to precise placement, while the barbless form fits catch-and-release fishing. The black finish works naturally with darker bodies and can be left visible where it suits the pattern rather than being covered by tying materials.
