Tiemco TMC 226 BL Fly Hooks

Tiemco TMC 226 BL is a barbless hook for caddis pupae and larvae, floating nymphs, emergers, soft hackles, keel nymphs and parachute flies. Its proportions support both surface-oriented and subsurface patterns.

Design and use

The organic bend and balanced relationship between shank and gape provide tying space for elongated caddis bodies, emergers and larvae. The 1XF wire suits light constructions, including soft-hackle and parachute designs. The bronze finish blends with natural fly colours and traditional dressings. Its barbless point is suitable for keel nymphs and release-focused fishing, while the open gape leaves the point available when the body or hackle is relatively full.
