Trout Clouser Fly Chartreuse
Trout Clouser Fly Chartreuse is a trout version of the Clouser streamer, a recognised pattern imitating a small baitfish. Bob Clouser developed it while working as a guide, looking for a quick, practical fly for small baitfish. The Chartreuse variant offers greater contrast.
Retrieve the fly actively beneath the surface, using short, irregular pulls interspersed with pauses. Vary the retrieve speed in response to the trout’s reactions. Tied on a barbless hook; available in sizes #8, #10 and #12.
