Wapsi Foam Ant Body - small

Wapsi Foam Ant Body - small consists of ready-shaped, soft foam ant bodies for tying small ant imitations efficiently. Each body has a white head section that helps the fly remain visible on the water and can be coloured with a permanent artist marker when a different finish is required.

Construction and use

Select the small body to match the hook and the intended outline, then position it along the hook shank. Secure it with controlled, broad thread wraps so the thread does not cut into the soft foam. A thread base or a compatible adhesive can be used when additional stability is useful. Leave the white head as a visual reference point, or colour it with a permanent artist marker before tying or after the body has been secured.
