Wapsi Magnum Cct Body Fur

Wapsi Magnum Cct Body Fur is a long-fibre windable material and the full-profile member of the CCT Body Fur family. It builds broad, mobile bodies, collars and synthetic hackle for large streamers, including articulated fly designs.

Construction and use

Secure the starting point by its core or at the base of the strip, then wind successive turns along the hook shank. Sweep the fibres back before each turn to preserve their full length and keep them from being trapped beneath the material. When the body is complete, comb out the fibres, separate any compressed strands and trim the profile to match the fly. The material suits patterns requiring a broad body and can be shaped for crab and shrimp imitations as well as articulated flies.
