Wapsi Rabbit Half Skin Zonked

Wapsi Rabbit Half Skin Zonked is half a rabbit skin pre-cut into longitudinal zonker strips. The fur strips are used for streamer wings, tails and backs, as well as for building fur-covered bodies.

Construction and use

Select sections with an even, full hair cover and a length suited to the hook. When tying in, part the hair so the thread compresses the hide rather than trapping fibres in an unwanted direction. A strip cut along the hide works as a wing or tail; when wrapping, use even turns and controlled tension to keep the strip from twisting.
