Wapsi Rabbit Whole Skin

Wapsi Rabbit Whole Skin is a complete, intact rabbit skin. This format lets the tier cut zonker strips, larger patches or small fur sections as required for streamers, nymphs and other patterns.

Construction and use

Lay the skin hair-side down before cutting and mark the direction and width required for the pattern. Use a sharp blade from the hide side, making a shallow cut without slicing through the hair. Narrow strips can be tied in as tails or wings, while longer sections can be wrapped around the hook shank. Smaller cut pieces provide tufts for heads and other details.
