Wapsi Sili Legs Metallic

Wapsi Sili Legs Metallic are silicone tabs with prepared leg strands and a metallic finish. The bright strands can serve as legs, feelers, tails or side accents on flies with different profiles. Individual strands are approximately 5.5 inches, or 14 cm, long and can be shortened before tying.

Construction and use

Cut the required group from the tab or separate individual strands. Secure them at the chosen point with several broad thread wraps: a middle tie-in creates a pair of legs, while an attachment near one end produces a longer tail or feelers. After securing the material, separate the strands with a needle and set their direction. Avoid one hard thread pinch, which can cut the silicone.
