Wapsi SLF Davy Wotton Standard Dubbing

Wapsi SLF Davy Wotton Standard Dubbing is the original Synthetic Living Fiber, a classic dubbing material with distinctive sparkle. In a finished body, it gives a lively, slightly translucent appearance that contrasts with more matte dubbings. The broad colour range supports use across different fly patterns.

Construction and use

SLF Standard suits bodies on nymphs, wet flies and streamers when a synthetic sheen and a sense of depth are wanted. Use it on its own or blend it with another dubbing while retaining some of the original texture. Apply the material in thin layers to keep the body profile controlled. After winding, gently separate the fibres with a needle or dubbing brush.
