Wapsi Turkey Flats

Wapsi Turkey Flats are flat turkey feathers gathered at the base in a strung bundle for easy selection. Their broad, relatively even surface suits cut wings and streamer posts. The flat shape makes it easier to mark a repeatable outline and preserve the chosen width when the material is tied in. The package contains 1/4 oz of feathers.

Construction and use

Select a feather with enough surface for the intended wing length and outline before starting the fly. After cutting, secure the material with a few loose wraps and increase thread tension gradually.
