Wapsi Ultra Chenille Medium

Wapsi Ultra Chenille Medium is a compact chenille with an even surface for building nymph, streamer and other fly bodies that need a fuller profile. Its construction produces a smoothly covered body without joining short pieces of material.

Construction and use

Before tying it in, expose a short section of the core by parting the chenille fibres. Secure that prepared end to the hook shank, then wind the material in adjacent turns while keeping the wraps even. The Medium version builds a broader body than Micro and can also be used for segmented bodies, simple streamer patterns and other designs requiring a substantial chenille profile.
