J:Son Nymph Backs Caddis Larva

J:son Nymph Backs Caddis Larva are preformed silicone caddis-larva backs with forelegs. Each component is intended to build the upper body and back of a nymph without cutting the shape from sheet material. The surface may be detailed with a waterproof marker when additional definition is required.

Construction and use

Select a size that matches the hook and the intended body length. Tie the root at the rear of the prepared body, position the back over the thorax and secure it at the front with moderate thread pressure so the silicone remains properly shaped. Check the foreleg position before the final wraps; marker details can be added after a dry fit or once the component has been tied in.
