Taimen Nubuck Fly Line Cleaner and Leader Straightener

Taimen Nubuck Fly Line Cleaner and Leader Straightener is a compact nubuck accessory designed for cleaning fly line and straightening leaders. It helps remove surface deposits picked up during fishing while also reducing coils and memory in a leader before the fly is presented.

For line cleaning, fold the accessory around the fly line and draw it along one section at a time. A leader can be treated in much the same way: hold the material lightly around the monofilament and pull it through with a smooth, controlled movement. Moderate pressure gives better control over friction and helps avoid excessive heat build-up.

It is useful both when assembling a fresh set-up and during a fishing session if the line needs attention or the leader retains the shape of its spool or packet. Choose the required accessory colour from the product selector.
