Taimen River Long Cast Fly Line WF-F White/Orange

Taimen River Long Cast WF-F White/Orange is a fully floating, weight-forward fly line developed for longer casts and situations in which the angler has to manage wind. The WF profile concentrates more of the working mass towards the front, helping to load the rod and transfer energy towards the fly. Its low stiffness gives the line a softer feel in the hand and while it is being managed on the water.

• Colour scheme: white and orange; a 9 m section of the head contrasts with the remaining head section and the running line.

The contrasting head section provides a clear visual reference as line is extended. It helps the angler monitor the working length of the head over successive casts and track its position before lifting the line from the water. This supports a repeatable casting set-up and makes distance easier to judge without drawing attention away from the fishing. The marker is particularly useful when gusts make it harder to maintain casting rhythm and a stable loop.

The family’s range of line weights allows the same profile to be matched to rods with different ratings. When selecting a weight, use the rod rating and the intended outfit as the reference.
