Taimen River Nymph Fly Line WF-F Fl Yellow/Fl. Orange

Taimen River Nymph WF-F Fl. Yellow/Fl. Orange is a floating WF fly line developed for nymph fishing. Its head profile is intended to turn over weighted nymphs, while the 1.5 m fluorescent orange front section provides a clear visual reference. Combined with the fluorescent yellow section, it helps the angler follow the position of the line’s front end and monitor the drift.

Profile and fishing use

The WF profile concentrates casting mass in the head, helping to transfer energy to a weighted nymph and straighten the system after the cast. During the drift, attention can remain on the orange section: a change in its position, a pause or a shift in direction can provide a useful indication of movement. This 1.5 m section forms the front of the floating WF-F line and acts as a visible marker.

• Profile: floating WF-F for nymph fishing
• Line-weight range: #3–#7
• Length: 30 m, including a 1.5 m orange front section
• Colour: fluorescent yellow and fluorescent orange
• Construction: braided multifilament nylon core, PVC coating and low stiffness

The family covers line weights #3 to #7, allowing the line weight to be matched to the chosen outfit while retaining the same nymph-focused profile. When fishing, comparing the orange front with the yellow section helps show how the fly line is tracking through the drift and draws attention to movement at its leading end. Low stiffness is a shared construction characteristic across the stated line-weight range.
