Taimen River Breathable Waders

Taimen River are breathable waders designed for everyday, regular fishing – when all-day comfort, freedom of movement and dependable waterproof performance matter in real river conditions. The lower legs are constructed from a particularly durable 5-layer fabric, while the upper section uses a lighter 3-layer laminate to maintain a high level of comfort and breathability.

In this model, we use the RIVULUS® CORE breathable fabric – a balanced Taimen standard that combines high waterproof performance and breathability with softness, elasticity and durability suitable for intensive use, without a sense of compromise.

The construction is based on SeamSavvy® – our proprietary seam engineering approach, in which the number of seams is genuinely reduced and their routing carefully planned to minimise abrasion zones and repeated flex points. Fewer seams mean shorter potential leak paths and greater long-term predictability of waterproof integrity.

The outer polyester face fabric is finished with DWR (Durable Water Repellent), a hydrophobic treatment that limits water absorption by the outer layer and reduces the adherence of dirt.

The model also carries the bluesign® PRODUCT designation, confirming that the finished waders are manufactured using verified, safer materials and more responsible production processes across the supply chain – without compromising performance on the water.
